Smoked Salmon Appetizer Platter

During the holiday season we all have places to go and people to see. You call to accept the invitation and then you ask that dreaded question… “what can I bring” and the answer is “an appetizer would be great!” (Be honest, you were hoping to hear…we don’t need  a thing!!!)  This idea takes only a trip to the local market. As you can see…it’s all in the presentation. These seasonal colors make for a festive display. Your shopping list only consists of a cucumber, radishes, dill, capers, dill sauce, (ooops…forgot the *red onion, minced) and of course a nice piece of smoked salmon. Serve with crackers or small pumpernickel breads. You’re welcome!!!

* Dribble a small amount of minced onion on top of the capers

  1. This was, without a doubt, the most beautiful presentation of an appetizer you have ever made. It was also delicious. It was exactly one week ago tonight that I was fortunate enough to be the beneficiary of this dish andyour mad culinary skills!
