Herby Rhodes Rolls

Who’s bringing the dinner rolls? My role never seems include the rolls!  I’m taking it on this time and bringing the standard dinner roll to the next level. These little yeast bombs are rolled in herby butter and then are placed on your counter to rise til double in size, about 3-5 hours. Bake for 15 minutes and you have yourself the most outrageous dinner roll that will compliment any main course.

Herby Rhodes Rolls

Serves 36
1 36 count bag of Rhodes Rolls
2 stick butter, melted
1 tbsp dried rosemary, crushed in your hand
1 tbsp dried oregano
1 tbsp dried thyme
6 cloves garlic, minced

In a small saucepan melt butter over low heat and add in herbs and garlic. Cook on low until just melted and very fragrant.
Working with one roll at a time, roll the frozen Rhodes rolls in the her butter and set in a greased pan about 2” apart. Cover with plastic wrap and let rise 3 to 5 hours, until rolls double in size.
Preheat oven to 350°F. Bake for 15-20 minutes, until golden brown.
Remove rolls from oven and brush with any remaining melted butter and top with flaky salt. Serve warm.

To use all 36 rolls, place a few rimmed sheet pans.
