Game Day…what’s cookin’? This big, messy and tasty Street Fair sausage-and-pepper hero is happening here. One pan with all the veggies and sausage ready in 30 minutes. The honey mustard sauce is the perfect condiment. Don’t skip it.
Sheet Pan Italian Sausage Heros with Honey Mustard
- 1 package Mild Italian sausage (turkey, chicken or pork)
- 1 Green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 Red bell pepper, sliced
- ½ Onion, sliced
- ½ tsp Salt
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
- 5 Hoagie rolls, toasted
Honey Mustard Sauce
- 1/3 cup Mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp Whole grain mustard
- 1 tbsp Honey
- 1 tsp Soy sauce
- Heat oven to 425°F.
- Place the bell peppers and onion on a rimmed baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt, toss to coat.
- Nestle the sausages in between the veggies and roast for 30 minutes.
- In a small bowl mix the mayonnaise, whole grain mustard, honey and soy sauce.
- Remove the sausage and veggies from the oven and toss with the sauce or drizzle on top once in the hoagie roll.
- Serve sausage and veggies on toasted hoagie rolls smothered in the sauce.
